The more LaTonya, founder and CEO of Cognitive Inspirations, learned, the more everything began to make sense.
Her creativity had always felt inherited from some unseen ancestor—a whisper in her ear, a nudge in her spirit when she wrote, performed, dreamed. Now she knew why. Her bloodline was a river of pioneers, artists, and visionaries whose gifts had not skipped her. They had only been waiting for her to claim them.

Writer, Poet, Spoken Word Artist Entrepreneur
Native of Chicago, LaTonya Andrea Patterson who goes by stage name A.Abyla Lloyd arose as a creative writer while discovering her son, Victor was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. The struggle to balance mental health, motherhood, and as a professional accounting came as a turning point where A.Abyla emotional meltdown became the catalyst to the work she produces today as a spoken word artists.Touring around the country, notably at open mics allows A.Abyla to sharpen her performance skills while serving the community in cities where the open mics resides. Aside of spoken word, A.Abyla tells her story poetically in her upcoming book titled, Rise of the Chrysalis due to launch in 2024. Other projects A.Abyla is due to launch in the near future is, The Rhymer's Corner podcast and a nonprofit in honor of her son Victor, Talented Hands Special Needs Fine Arts. She currently serves on the board of directors for Phoenix, Arizona emerging nonprofit organization, Premier Destiny and business management team for California nonprofit, Create Noise Productions.
